The CBD has been crying out for a vegetarian eatery, and beloved Bowral cafe Veggie Nook have answered the call! The brand new Veggie Nook Wollongong serves up purely vegetarian foods, with plenty of vegan and gluten free options on the menu too.

Back in 2019, owners Danny, Tash and Nick were frustrated when it came to eating out as vegetarians. With around 13% of Aussies identifying as vegetarian, there was a definite gap in the market. They joined forces to launch their Bowral cafe, and after nailing their offer are now here to help Wollongong locals find fresh and easy plant-based eats.

What's on offer:

  • The signature dish? The delicious loaded nacho bowl!
  • Cauliflower 'buffalo wings', zucchini fritters, and veggie burgers and hot dogs are delicious menu staples that make it easy to please a mixed crowd of vegetarians and any non-veg friends.
  • Need a sweet hit? Check out the freshly baked vegan desserts, with tempting treats like 'Twix' Bars, Raw Vegan Cheesecake, and Raw Avo-Lime Tart.
